As a wellness coach, health coach and personal trainer, I challenge clients to focus on the present instead of the past. It is in the present, with an eye towards the future, that real change begins. Our interest in the past is but to recognize changes that were not successful.
It is the lack of an overall health strategy that is the primary cause of failure in changing lifestyle habits. I share the convictions of a large body of behavior scientists who are daily demonstrating the benefits of human empowerment as the most effective means of sustaining newly learned lifestyle changes.
